The Slut WalkProtest Marches began on April 3 , 2011 in Toronto , Canada and became a movement of rallies accross the World. Partisipants protest against explaining or excusing rape by referring to any aspect of a Womans appearance. The rallies began when constable Michael Sanguinetti , a Toronto Police Officer suuggested to Woman " that to remain safe they should avoid dressing like Sluts when they go out "
The Protest takes the form of a march mostly by young Woman where some dress ordinarily and some dress like "sluts " .
There are also speakers meetings and workshops .
Some Objectors have remarked that this approach is an example of Woman defining themselves in Male terms .
